In this game they said the game would start at 272 bc , the question is will it start before pyrrhus death or after his death,
it would be cool seeing him in game.

If it starts in 272BC I don't see any reason to exclude Pyrrhus, it would make for an early challenge for the Romans and make the Epirus more interesting to play.

"Pyrrhus and his invading Greek warriors have been driven from the shores of Italy, and the burgeoning Republic boasts the military muscle to match its ambition"
My bad, I forgot the dates. After 275BC pyrrhus's campaign in Italy would be over apparently. But he would still be alive!
I think that the tutorial campaign will be depicting the Romans driving out Pyrrhus.

He is the only reason Epeiros is in, so..
I hope he is still around, I know he died in a battle shortly afterwords though in an unusual situation.
Any idea who Rome's Allies were during the start period of the game anyone?

'When people stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing — they believe in anything. '

Under the patronage of Nihil. So there.
They should probably start off with good relations with Egypt and maybe some Greek factions like Syracuse. I think that the Greeks and Carthage still had a little fuss about who was the dominant commercial power in the Mediterranean and around Sicily especially, and that the Greeks supported roman aggression towards Carthage. But i don't think Rome had any official allies during this time.

Well reason I was asking was not to get off topic but my first campaign is going to be Rome and I was curious if I would start out allied with the factions that are histroically correct and if I didn't I was gonna try and ally with them before making my way into Hispania to conquer all of it. Were they really allied with Sparta?

Well, by the time the game starts Rome has just conquered southern Italy and along with this the greek city state of Taras. And Taras mother city was Sparta, so i think that Sparta and Rome had some issues between each other. And as far as i know, Rome had no official allies at the starting period. The closest you get to a Roman ally would be Syracuse and good relations with Egypt.
