One think I cou dunderstand is:

Caesar was a very unpopular man in Rome ( Untrue )
Romans could win because they had been lucky ( what? )
they didn't hire any serious historians and did their research reading some books in few months???

what kind of history books did they read?

but then arrives the final admission ...

"we tried to make the game more accessible"

    that explains all !

-Caeser was unpopular with some of the Roman populace but most of all the senate.
-Rome, like other empires before her, became great by circumstance. For example, Italy is easily defensible if you own the whole region. It has a large population as well. Many battles Rome fought were also won by circumstance. Circumstances like a Roman officer leading a charge at the right time or the enemy making a stupid mistake. People often think that Rome was the best. The truth is far from that.
-They read a lot of books. They probably even read ancient sources but you cannot rely on just ancient sources because they're often inaccurate. So they have to read books written by modern scholars as well.

No , he was very popular in Rome , he was unpopular only to some senators that saw in him a Tyrant , but all of the population of Rome actually loved him.
So their affirmations are plain wrong.

Also wrong , Rome didn't become an empire just because of some lucky shots on a couple of battles and fortunate circumstances. It become a successful empire due to a lot of complex reasons.
Saying that Rome got lucky to arrivewhereit did its simplicistic and quite wrong.

The modern scholars read ancient sources and based on those they make assumptions.
I find much more relieable ancient factual sources and archeological proves rather than written opinions by some hsitory reinterpreters.

Yeah, there's a lot of background noise but I think the developers are pretty understandable if you turn up the volume.

The game is about making your own history

Points of new or expanded information in the video:
-The men on ships (crews?) can be landed to fight land battles.
-Capture points are stuff like baggage trains which would be important for an army, not just points on the map (this should quiet down all the people who think that capture points are gamey).
-The game begins at 272 BC.
-Barbarian factions can sack cities, allowing them to cause damage to them without having to hold them.
-Players can turn other factions into client states, meaning they’ll be obligated to protect that faction but can tax it in return.
-Urbanization can have negative effects as natural resources are swallowed up by urban crawl.
-You can spread rumours about people in order to discredit them and limit their political influence.
Overall good stuff, nice to have an interviewer who was actually trying to interview instead of babbling on about elephants or kissing ass.

The fact that it's also over 20 minutes instead of those meager 10 minutes with the other interviews does also help a ton
