Is the game to be "Tweaked" after E3 ?

Well logic would say the final product has to be ready 1 month before Sept 3rd so they have time to package it and distribute.

My question ..Is E3 used as some kind of testing /feedback on the game and will CA be watching for comments, on say forums too.

Will they go away now for 4 weeks and tweak or even address some of the issues people have gripes with?.

Sorry if its a Nub question.

It has been said in interviews, even on the E3 I believe, that CA has entered the BETA stage. Which means they're going to tweak and balance a lot of things.

Ofcourse it will, but they won't change major decisions they made about the game. The UI was very much work in progress according to the guys who saw it at E3. Then you have stuff like balancing.

The E3 battle may or may not have been sped up to allow more people to play, we don't really know. The guy on the official forums who played it said that what he played felt very different to what they showed to us (then again, they just made a big mix of different footage that lasted 5 minutes, the actual battle he played took around 25 minutes to finish depending on what faction you were)

That's right, they only showed us the highlights of the battle. It's impossible to know how long the actual battle took from the edited version we saw.

The game isn't out of Beta. It's not done yet

And like others have said, patches will ensure the tweaking is done even after release!

I actually like the battle UI and campaign UI for the most part. The only iffy parts were the unit cards and building description cards. The overall UI look very clean to me.

The game at E3 is in the very end of Alpha stage going into beta stage, there is still plenty of tweaking to be done.

Good to hear the UI is still a WIP. I'm not a huge fan of the plain, bland transparent and modern looking UI. It looks too much like a Civ game. I like the flavoring and accenting of the original RTW -- MTW2, ETW, and even STW2 had that as well.

Well, one of the good things about Steam, (Some of you are gonna hate me for saying that) is that, as everyone is forced to use it, CA can continue to tweak the game even after it ha gone gold. This probably means that everyone will get a day-one patch, but that is only good, as the game will be even better at launch than back in the days, when patches was released rarely, to keep installations easy for the users.
