Generally very happy with current game content
Medium sense of contentness with current ingame content
Dissapointed about ingame content (like unit cards, provence system, wrong names of regions, and the physics)
Highly disspointed with current ingame content_ at this point, this means that any modding is irrelevent and you will not be buying the game. (cough PROMETHEUS) lol jk XD
one thing I am really pissed about. the part where he is constructing buildings in Antioch you see the enemy faction's regions within your province... Parthia no longer has the proud purple/gold lion anymore... instead it is puke green.
why CA...WHY?!

Who needs capture points? Where the ballistas really that large? The legionaries flew out pretty far when the chariots charged them head on. So far it appears very arcade. Not great and powerful as I expected.
Anyone have any other thoughts?
Some Ballistas were really that large yes ...
but at this point the credibility or historicity of some units are really the last problems of this game .
The main Issue I have with it is with almoust impossible stuff to be modded due especially to the huge time it would require ...
Like imagine to redo all damn 700 UI Cards and UI of buildings ...
Or fix the map in size , siegeability of all cities ( wich is actually what really bothers me the most of all )
not talking of implementing features like changing seasons per year and the relative conditioning on the strategy , diplomacy etc ...
One thing is modding , another is Remaking a game !

Yes, Rome 1 had/has a huge modding community. Roma Surrectum and Europa Barbarorum were great. I was hoping CA would learn this time around so that mods wouldn't be needed. Guess not.
haha I love how PROMETHEUS gets his own poll, its good for the game to have someone so passionate and will fight for a better game for us all. I was the same with EA and battlefield until I gave up or got nurfed out by the console kids.
At least CA is not a PC sell out, I rather admire them for there PC loyalty.
I’m neither happy, neither disappointed. This is my opinion about some concerns of this community after de demo presentation at E3:
Unit cards- I don’t care much about the user interface (UI), inclining unit cards. Actually, I don’t find them bad at all. The only thing I don’t like in the UI is the transparency (they would be nice to see in a game about some war in the 21 century, but they don’t fit in a game about ancient warfare).
Province system- The province system reminds me the system implemented in Europa Universalis: Rome and I like it. I also support the idea that you can only siege some of the cities for gameplay reasons. Nevertheless, I’m sad about the impossibility to lay siege on important cities, such as Syracuse and Jerusalem.
Capture the flag – I like the idea of having key points in the battle that will give me bonus if I capture them (CA already did this in Shogun 2). But I don’t like the idea of having to capture a flag to win a battle, especially if this feature is present in EVERY battle. Some people say that this kind of battle will appear only if the defending army is on “forced march”. If this is true, then I think that these kind of battles are acceptable.
The idea of having a baggage train on the battlefield is great, but capturing this point shouldn’t be a victory condition. If an enemy army captures the flag, this should have only impact on the morale.
Wrong names of regions- I support the those who think that the game should have historically accurate names.
Physics - I support the those who think that the game should have better physics. Having soldiers flying just because a rock hit the ground 5 meter away is just…silly. I hope CA fix this. Al Bickham said that not every men die after flying 2-3 meters in the air, but still, I think they should rework the physics.
