When Hiero returned to besiege their base (Messana) in 265 BC the Mamertines called for help from a nearby fleet from Carthage, which occupied the harbor of Messana. Seeing this, the Syracuse forces retired, not wishing to confront Carthaginian forces. Uncomfortable under the Cathaginian "protection," the Mamertines now appealed to Rome to be allowed into the protection of the Roman people. At first, the Romans did not wish to come to the aid of soldiers who had unjustly stolen a city from its rightful possessors. However, unwilling to see Carthaginian power spread further over Sicily and get too close to Italy, Rome responded by entering into an alliance with the Mamertines. In response, Syracuse allied itself with Carthage, imploring their protection. With Rome and Carthage brought into conflict, the Syracuse/Mamertine conflict escalated into the First Punic War.

I noticed in post 81 and 82, there was made a wrong. After next post there was took -1 point from Sparta as it wasnt marked as red or -. Dare you cheat and drop my sparta.

Another plot twist! A Spartan General (Antonopolous the Awesome) returns home after years of battling rebels in the North.
Once Antonopolous the Awesome receives news of the sack of Sparta, he and his 300-man strong bodyguard retake the city from the Carthaginian scum.
The City leaders are beheaded, their unworthy skulls kicked down a giant well while Antonopolous yells ":sparta:".
And horses drag the headless Carthaginian bodies through the streets as wild dogs fight over their entrails.

No, it was right all along; post number 81 just didn't include the changes made in post number 79, which has a 4 for Sparta as well (just like post 82 again had).I noticed in post 81 and 82, there was made a wrong. @aaSimplicity: of course it's up to you as the game host what to do with Sparta, but IMO it should not be in the game anymore.

Of course. Sparta is indeed out, sorry guys. Would have made for a good story though!
Since Sparta is out, the only faction left to defend the Greek peninsula is Athens.
Unfortunately, it seems Athens does not have the military capabilities to defend against the might of the Carthaginians
