I like everything apart from a four things, units die too fast(from what i have seen),the cards, capture points and although not really bad i want the power of chariots and artillery tone down a little bit.

but thats about it, really looking forward to this.

I like the sound effects!!! even if they were hard to hear, I'm sure they will be epic and it kinda sounded epic when romans marched and when ships slave crew in the E3 demo.
I also like the quality of landscape in the battle map.
Please give me reputation points thank you

The game has things to be concerned about and things to be excited about. more information is always good to have even if its repeats of a different flavor. Just keep on looking for more CA announced information so we can get a better grasp on what is actually going to be happening in the game. I am looking forward to the game so far is it going to be the best game ever made on this earth, probably not but i am sure it will still be fun.

I agree with an exceptional few things like the unrealistic physics but everything else looks great and I'm excited. Thank you CA!

Really glad to have useful artillery again. I liked that map in particular, the size, and the difference in elevation were both nice, and were both very different in comparison to Shogun's small, flat maps. The shipboard Roman troops weren't utilized this time but I can see the naval/land combined battles being a real game-changer.

Whats the problem with chariots? Is it because chariot wagon would go faster than the horses are able to run and the wagon probably would knock over?

There were a couple moments where I literally had to pick up my jaw because of the sheer awesomeness of Rome 2. Needless to say I'm ridiculously excited.
Creedy: Bollocks. Whatchya gonna do, huh? We've swept this place. You've got nothing. Nothing but your bloody knives and your fancy karate gimmicks. We have guns.
    V
: No, what you have are bullets, and the hope that when your guns are empty I'm no longer standing, because if I am you'll all be dead before you've reloaded.
    Creedy
    : That's impossible. Kill him.
    V
    : My turn.
(kills everyone while they are still reloading)
    Creedy:
Die! Die! Why won't you die?... Why won't you die?
    V
: Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

    Hello All

I registered here at total war center simply to state that I completely agree with the OP. I grow weary of all the negativity. This game is looking simply amazing and I'm beyond excited. Few games can get me so hyped up, but this is looking simply incredible. It seems they are working on everything I've hoped for in a total war game. I love the campaign map's scale and detail. I love the detailed cities and the large scale they utilized. And yes, I love the unit cards too. I have no doubt this will be the best total war game to date.

I like that you can see the Legion's name there.

The legio in the campaign is Legio XIII!! It would be awesome to have Titus Pullo and Lucius Verenus *I think I butchered the names* Long live the Thirteenth! It won't happen but it would be awesome.

    I agree, Pericles Plato! +rep
I love coming here and read up some stuff about Rome2. But unfortunately, there are a lot of negative threads. Especially this annoying Prometheus guy who whines just about everything he sees and opens different threads about it.
Rome 2 looks awesome so far! The campaign map looks colorful, the combined battles of land and navy is gonna be complex but pretty sweet I think. I also like the unit cards, maybe it will take some time getting used to it though. Normally you see some sorta in-game screenshot of the unit on the card so you can identify it faster but like i said, maybe its just getting used to it.

I think the battles in the cities will truly be epic! The footage of Carthago was just the beginning! I really wonder how big and awesome the city of Rome will look like.

Poll confirmed that there are many more Rome-optymistic people ("fanboys") here. And they are present in every thread. There is no reason for those circlejerks.

The problem is that the naggers and complainers are the ones starting the threads. that's why the perception that the majority of the people in this forum will hate Rome II exists.

With all due respect to PROMETHEUS, but half of his threads are nagging and complaining about insignificant things. I do agree in some of his threads, but as Rome II release date gets closer the level of ridiculous keeps increasing.
