Default Will Sparta be "siegeable" or not?

The way it appears now, is that Sparta is a minor settlement, controlled by Athens which will be the capital city of Hellas province. If that's true, it's a big letdown for me.. Imagine not being able to defend your own capital in a proper siege battle..

Same goes for Epirus and Apollonia btw..

Sparta didn't have walls at the time. And the major/minor settlement system is a very good compromise to not have Shogun 2 siegefest

Walls? You must be a helot.
Haha but correct me if I'm wrong apparently Spartans didn't believe/invest in walls?
So its probably gonna be a unique settlement that can still be sieged. Hopefully.

What's unique to a city without walls?
Sparta as city wasn't special at all

Haha I meant that since Sparta is the capital of that province, it would be classified under siege battle not town/filed battle so the creators might make a unique model of Sparta to represent the city without walls.

I don't know how to make that city unique after all which special buildings did they made?

No I mean as in they will represent the city without walls but you will still be able to fight inside the city, unlike in smaller settlements where they said it would just be a field battle

every city is the capital of a REGION, so every city would have to be unique, wich wont be the case.

Sparta wont have a siege battle map, simply a field battle with the city in the background, outside the map. it will still have have garrison troops (like in shogun 2 for example) just like every other city (probably depending on building upgrades)

Doubt that. It looks like Sparta is going to be the capital of Peloponese and Athens will be the capital of Attica. Then, we have Larissa, Pella and Epirus' capital (Apollonia?), each city being the capital of their province.

Prob wont have a siege battlemap of any kind but who knows. We dont know yet what sort of battle types they will have for the regions.

What a mess you have done!

Sparta is a minor settlement controlled by Sparta. No siege for Sparta. Sparta is part of Hellas province made up of 3 regions. The 3 settlements of this province (one for region) are Sparta, Athens and Hierapytna. Athens is the provincial capital and so the only siegeable settlement.

Pella, Larissa and Apollonia are part of Macedonia province. Provincial capital is Pella.

Probably not, the interesting fact is that even if you create an huge empire with sparta, is capital still a minor settlement (so maybe is better change it.)

    Totally agree...

For me, every city should be siegeable, that's why they have walls. Just my opinion.
