I'm the Hattori and he's the Oda. (kind of a bad mistake letting him play that, but that's besides the point.)

Our first objective was to close the gap between up. Obviously, we closed that short gap while fighting the Ikko Ikki hordes. As everyone knows, Shogun 2 campaigns aren't exactly short, so we decided to quit and play another time.

While I was off, I was thinking about the whole "being the shogun" ordeal. We're playing a co-op, and I was wondering what would happen if one of us were to capture Kyoto. Say if I captured it, would I only get the benefits/the title Shogun? Would my human friend be left out in the cold?

If i remember correctly, only one can get it yes (just like only one clan can be va,guard in FOTS). You'll fight together against the remainder of japan though
