New patch?

im downloading a 17.9 mb patch for shogun 2... does anybody know what it is? havent seen any mention of it and really wasnt expecting one

Took me some time to download aswell, was stuck like 3 times for 5-10 minutes, but then it finished. Didnt noticed any changes, just game files got updated.

mines been stuck at 80% for over an hour now, seen as there so found of DLC maybe i have to pay to unlock the rest of the patch

Oh gosh, how I hate that. Steam should demand on publishers to apply changelog to each single update on their platform. And this 20MB patch needs at least 15 GB free space on HDD.

It gets stuck because steam has to "open" and update the pack files (wich are GB big, and are slow to open)

What's with all the secrecy for the #@$* sake?

People who mod their games don't like those kind of surprises, because patches like to screw their games up, not to mention redownload the whole thing sometimes, therefore I would like to know what I'm downloading

I hope thar steam someday will demand that a changelog list is added to the download so you can watch it while you wait or something...

yes - it would be nice to ask permission to patch the game (or to make any kind of change on my HDD for that matter). Fortunately STEAM has an option to not update automatically and I personally keep my account offline most of the time for that purpose too.

Release patch notes, that's what I'm saying. Don't make surprises out of it. I don't like them.
