Just a note: This is something like a strong PG-13, like Teen rated for games. Sexually sugguestive at times and violence/blood, but nothing absolutely horrible.

It is a little odd at first, but if you can get into it it is really great. The animation is very well done, it's funny, entertaining, and even has a good message. There's a good deal of fighting, even some drama/romance, and overall it is just an amazing work.

I also have it in my signature, and they have a forum on their main website bar. But their forum is... Well, it's very different than ours here. The main moderator, Sage, is a little... Nazi-ish. But you can still find a lot of cool stuff on their forum, from some great artwork and tutorials to some more off-topic spam sessions.

Anyway, what do you think of it?

you know, because of you i started to read the comics. I read every one of em in 2 days. I L-O-V-E them. If Tom took all his comics and made a book for the pub to sell id buy em. Thanx

There is going to be a book, I don't know how soon. I'm certainly going to buy it the minute it comes out. They are just really well done, the story is excellent, it's just a great online comic. Regularly updated, too.

I also like the human elements - the bad guys aren't all bad, the good guys aren't all good.

Yup. I think im adicted to online comics now. Have you ever read Seraph inn? Its golden in my opinion. Im going to enjoy my new found enjoyment of reading these free comics. Most of the guys ignored this topic but its def worth paying attention to.

Well as I have stated before in the Anime and Manga thread, I have read it and I like it. There are however so many unanswered questions. Hopefully they will be answered once the book comes out. I don’t think you really had to warn people about Sexually suggestive, and violence/blood. I mean in only one second of Elfen Lied I see ten times better er.. I mean worse.

Yes, I have in the top post "This is something like a strong PG-13, like Teen rated for games. Sexually sugguestive at times and violence/blood, but nothing absolutely horrible." I don't think it's worthy of an R, but some scenes (if you are reading this you probably know what they are ) are obviously... ehem.

That said, it definately helps to have some sex and violence to spruce things up a bit. Look at the Rome series on HBO... I mean, that is just overly gratuitous, but without sex and violence it wouldn't get enough viewers to be continued. It keeps the older/more mature audience interested but keeps it at a level that isn't inappropriate for teens (I would say it's a no-no for young children though).

And of course, it rocks.

I've replaced the Steve Irwin sig that I made with a TwoKinds one... I know it's sad, and I'm still very sad about what the entire world has lost. But I think it's about time to stop mourning (at least as a stranger) and start remembering and celebrating his life.

Usually I don't like webcomics, but I hope to make my own someday. This one I've read a long while back, but it didn't really catch my interest, so I dropped it. Also, it's furry-factor is exceedingly high.

You should give it another go, after all our taste in things change as we age. Yea well I believe that most people who read the manga are furry for Flora. However we must remember to watch those claws. Look at it this way. An cat's paw is not big yet its claws stretch out to about an 1/2inch. Now make that paw into an human size and we are talking perhaps three inches. So yea I would say before you ever make it to third base your body may still be here on Earth but your soul has descended into Heaven.

O and Zuwxiv I like the new sig better then the old one. This one is more like what TwoKinds is. The old one had me expecting to see something along the lines of an all-out war, with little or no story line. The new one shows the exact opposite as it shows that its an love story. That or after seeing you sig people will think your sending them to some kind of furry hentai site, and once they see that that’s not it they will curse you to hell and back. Of course once they take the time to read the manga and not just look at the pictures they will be glad they went.

Nicely done, however I wouldn’t of put the faded picture of Flora in there, but I do understand that its symbolic as it represents her tearing herself apart as she try’s desperately to act more human then animal. I’m somewhat in the same boat. I got an Hellsing sig made up but its too tall. And if I even lower the height by 2 its all screwed up. I may do the entire damn thing by hand as I have done with some of my earlier C.S. sigs. But they take so damn long to make and I don’t feel like sitting in front of an computer for hours on end just to make something ill only use for an month or so. Especially when I got an test coming up Monday and I really haven’t put much time in studying.

Same here, I recently (last New Year) got into art. I've been practicing here and there and I'm starting to be half-way decent, I even got myself some art supplies and enrolled in an art class. If you keep reading it, it gets better, and so does the quality of the art. I read the first 30 pages out of boredom, and the other 308 (There have been 338 as of this writing, 339 as of tomorrow) out of now quite obvious obsession.

Well your lucky, I got into the art of drawing things such as anime, manga, and internet comics back when I was in middle school thanks mainly to Gundam Wing, and Monster Rancher. As is the case then I still suck at drawing. The tall friend of mine is really good, he even drew an wing gundam and it looked just as good as the one in his manga. As for me, I tried to trace one and it still sucked .
What I love about TwoKinds is one thing...NO ELFS! For the love of God they are in everything that is fantasy in terms of knights and dragons. At least the idea of Humans and Animal-Humans is still somewhat Original.

Well that’s hard to explain, its an love story but has SO much blood, gore, and valiance, that many might not think it to be so. In short it takes the best of Human nature and gets rid of it all. It shows the world just how cruel Humans can be. I mean everything from murder, torture, and as far as an 13-14 year-old girl, who is the victim of sexual abuse by her stepfather. It evolves around an girl named Lucy, and Kouta. Kouta doesn’t remember much of his childhood. He even takes in Lucy when she escapes from the facility she was being kept at. She was shot at by an armor piercing .50 round bullet, her vectors don’t stop it but thanks to them and her helmet she doesn’t die. However dose suffer an great head wound that gives her two personalities Lucy/Nyuu. Kouta only really knows Nyuu, and doesn’t remember her as the young girl who had killed his sister and father. How can Lucy do this you ask? Well she is an Diclonius. A Diclonius is a separate evolution of human beings who grow two small horns on their heads while also being able to wield telekinetic powers through use of their "Vectors". Vectors, depicted as invisible "arms", can reach out in a limited range and easily slice through bodies, grab objects and propel them with superhuman strength at targets outside their reach, or even go through bodies without doing damage.
O but should you read this before you search for it… Don’t watch it or even read it if you have an faint heart. Many and I mean many who do end up throwing up in the first scene, and if they do make it even half way through begin to question there existence on Earth.
