Game not generating autosaves anymore!
First off, I should mention this started with mods. I havent looked at Vanilla yet
Anyway, when playing 1648(the new one) for Kingdoms, my game saves corrupted, wouldnt load. So I deleted them both(Autosave and a backup), and now no mod autosaves
Someone at the 1648 forum says that happens sometimes, but didnt offer a solution
What can I do? Do I have to reinstall all my crap, or can I fix it? I'd like to have my Autosaving capablities back, since well, im not used to manually saving TW, and my computer has been acting up, so I can go like 10 turns, then the damned thing crashes

Corrupted cannot be fixed. CA never gave a way to edit them.
Uncorrupted saves, and I have a bunch, means no multitasking, massive amounts of free disc space on C; drive, a better than aversge, cpu and gpu, and shut down everything in the backround not game related including autoupdaters.

Re: Game not generating autosaves anymore!
I have a more than powerful enough computer for Medieval 2 and all the mods I play
My problem is, my game is not making an Autosave anymore, or if there is an existing one, it doesnt save every turn. I want that back
Ive had corrupted saves before, and this has never happened

Re: Game not generating autosaves anymore!
Mods can turn it off. It's in the medieval2.preferences.cfg.
When done, set the file to read-only so another mod can't reset it on you.
