about midna in the campaingn

is there any plan for midna in the campaingn? mabye there could be a event that allow the player to choose if midna should take over zant and change their worship to something else than majora worship(could be called twili rebellion or something like that).

its can be cool to have an evil twili empire ruled by zant, but the good twili should be represented either as a emergent faction that you can choose after an event(or staying whit the old evil empire of zant's twili) or by a event that change your ruler. ( I prefer the first emergent faction option personally).

I don't know, however I like how zant is the leader, because of role play reasons it just wouldn't feel right if midna was leading a conquest against hyrule, zant however actually did that in twilight princess

i see your point, but i don't really see the kokiri or people from ordonna doing massive invasion either, but you can still do a massive gonocide of all race of hyrule whit them if you want.

also, before link saved midna's life, she was completly selfish and didn't care about the people from the world of light, soo midna could lunch invasion if it would serve her purpose.
or alternatively,if she would be as she is at the end of tp, when choosing her you could get a bonus in negociation to help dealing whit people from hyrule (if twili get diplomat in the next version). I also mentioned that by choosing her you could change the twili's religion to somethings else than majora worship, if it would change to godess worship, it would certainly help to deal alliance whit other faction whit that worship.

midna actually changed and realized she had to save the world of light before link got the master sword, sense that point link and midna grew closer together to the point where midna risked her life and almost died trying to fight off gannon and save link. also if you conquer a faction its not really a genocide unless you choose the exterminate option after taking over a settlement

Even before Midna changed her opinion of the Light World dwellers, she still considered herself and her people morally superior and wished to have nothing to do with the world of light. The idea of following in her ancestors' footsteps would probably have been unacceptable to her.

i am prety certain that give the possibility to have a event to change the ruler would not go againts lore. If you want zant to rule you could just choose to stay whit him. by having 2 differant possible ruler, the twili would have 2 ways of playing the same campaingn. whit zant you would have a faction that is oriented to do invasion and dominate the world of light(and are being hated by faction that worship the godess) and whit midna you would have a faction that is more orriented to be peacefull whit the factions that worship the godess. also each ruler could have some unique unit that the other one can't get(zant's one could look like the twili that are being ''transformed'' by zant's magc(beast-like creature), like the one we see in tp, and midna's one could look more human-like) .

giving the possibility to choose the ruler would give an opportunity to make this faction even more unique.

Of course if Midna was to regain her position in the middle of a war, with the Light Worlders intent on striking back, she would definitely continue to fight, so yeah.
