First of all, I've been playing this awesome mod since the first RS release and watched it slowly transform to one of the best mods for RTW.
I encountered the Roman rebellions in my recent campaign as Rome, I've been fighting against 4-5 rebellions (not counting the 1st one) for the past turns until my "Dictator for life" FL died and his adopted son and heir became Imperator Caesar. So now you can imagine the state my empire is in after "Caesar" becomes emperor. Lots of debt and seriously underpowered legions due to the civil wars.
I was on my way to recovering financial stability when boom. Guess what? Another rebellion.
I read through many threads regarding RS 2.5's rebellions and some say it is a bug. I also checked the traits and ancillaries to find out what triggers and effects the caesar trait has and found that my FM's gain some hidden rebel traits and ancillaries in cities. So now I'm wise enough not to place governors in cities. My income is stable even without governors but now I'm facing overcrowding in the capital city of Rome, where most of my generals and governors have "come of age". Aside from letting them lead Legions and Auxiliary Legions, what else could I do with them? I now have 3 stacks full of FM's standing around doing nothing productive.
Where could I send them? Which cities have the tendency to rebel and make them traitors?
Also I have experienced something odd. A rebellion happens every time at 580 AUC even without governors in the cities. Is this normal?
Any advice and tips in general would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:100th Post! Yay!
