Siege weapons (catapults, cannons etc) are causing CTD when attacking settlements that are "City" level or above.
I can't bring any buildable siege weapons (cannon, catapult etc) when attacking settlements from "city" level upwards. The battlemap loads fine but ctds (unspecified error in log) when I press to start the battle.
All works fine apart from this, I have no other ctds.
Also, I can fight sieges without the siege weapons and I can use siege weapons on settlements smaller than "city".
What files am I looking for and what should I be looking for in those files? 
I've hunted about and searched through the files but I cannot see anything wrong.
I'm playing "Thera TW" and I've modified it myself quite a bit, though the only thing I did to siege weapons was to make them more accurate in the descr_projectiles file. I've tried putting the original projectiles file back in but it still does the same ctd.

Ask the Thera forum. It could possibly be a bug not caught.

Fr your modifications, have you searched the Mod Workshop and ask there?
Summer is here, vacation time, and a lot of things are going to get quiet.
