Errors. Help me, please.

Hello, I have a few bugs with the mod Third Age Total War.

The first mistake is that I can not start a campaign. I click Single Player, then Third Age Campaign, choose the realm that I want to play and when I click Start back to the previous page, if that is where I click Third Age Campaign. I noticed this happened after I installed the patch 3.2.

In version 3.0 and 3.1 of the game, can not go into battle mode that appears an error message written "Third Age encountered an unspecified error and will now exit."

So for me to play a campaign I created in version 3.0 of the game, saved, and then I installed the patches later. Only that sometimes makes me want to play with another realm and I can not start another campaign in patch 3.2. And get me reinstalling the mod every time I want to start another campaign is boring.

The second error (not sure if it is a mistake) is that the game in the finance, corruption and other always gets a negative balance of four thousand, and it can not evolve the kingdom by always having to waive any military unit and thus, losing territory to the enemy.

I realized that in Medieval 2 Total War, the rate of corruption is minimal or does not exist, and thus it is possible to evolve the kingdom.

2. Is your M2TW Steam, or non steam version?

Thank you! Well, I use Windows 8 and non steam version.
Ps: My computer meets all the requirements for the game.

hello am having problems when fighting againts tree beard, soon as hes about to charge into my troops, theres a CTD saying "Third Age encountered an unspecified error and will now exit." can you help me please ? i cannot find the system log

, i have all the updates and patches installed

The line "an unspecified error" is a bane for all players and modders alike, since it as a rule do not tell us what is wrong and thus what may be done.
Presumably it's a random error that would not been repeated if fought elsewhere, hopefully at least hehe, and my best suggestion would be to not take the fight in that spot or to use autobattle, perhaps use cheat codes to win the battle in case you feel you would had anyway

I've installed twice and have all patches intalados, which are:

M2TW
patch 1.2
patch 1.3
Kingdom
patch 1.5
TATW 3.0
patch 3.1
patch 3.2

I will disable the time zone to see if it works ...

I noticed that during the installation it prompts Kingdom installing Net FrameWork 1.1 that is incompatible with Windows 8, and it is not installed. Does this and the problem?

Oh yeah.. Check out this page, and install NET.Framework 3.5 SP1 as suggested there. Hope this solves your problems, Windows 8 is gonna be a big pain in the ass for lot of old programs.. And they say Windows 8 is the future.. Bah

I installed everything and also the Net FrameWork 4.5 and the problem still continues. I give up now, I'd better uninstall the patch 3.2 and start the game in 3.1.

I have not install the patch 1.2 and 1.3, it is actually the installer Medieval 2 Total War Kingdom that updates my game. Have a problem?

I have a problem.. When i try to start the game it pop up a window that says "This application is not compatible with the installed operating system.Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better." But i cant have better version becuse i have windows 8? And it has work't before but now it dosen't work??? Plz Help

You mean your M2TW don't work? If this is the case, you should reinstall them after installing NetFramework, that way you get fresh data with no conflict between M2TW and NetFramework.

I would even suggest to post about this in the M2TW main Tech Help Forum, perhapse irishron or PoleCat will give you better advice on M2TW problems.
