Hey guys, today when looking through some boxes I found this book and with some help from Grim I Think I figured out what its date is and so on. The front pages are in od Italian and the text is in latin.
I will copy some down -
Elementi Delle Leggi Civili Romane (I think its italian)
Divisi in Quattro Libri
ed esposti nell Italiana favella
Dall'Abate Giuseppe Dall'olio
Giureconculto Romano
Letters of Marcus Tulius Cicero to [I think] Pamiliares, though that last is pure guessworkM. Tulli
Ciceronis
Epistolarum
AD
Pamiliares
Quote:
Libri XVL
Book 35, so presumably letter 35 really.
Quote:
Cum Selectis (I think) Variantibus Lectionibus
With various selected speeches
VENETIIS MDCCLXXXVII
Venice, 1787.
I posted some random info from it, and I thought I'd post in the History because
- You history buffs might know something about old books
- To see what other old books some people have.
If anyone can help me find out more about this old book and its worth, please contact me.![]()
