Default Exchanging Regions - and Other Diplomatic Options

Basically all in the title lads.

My question is as follows; at Rezzed it seems that CA may possibly discuss certain aspects of the campaign, including its AI and the diplomacy tab.

Now, the one thing I hope to see (and something I've ranted on for a while about) is the return of exchanging regions (i.e. demand/give); it certainly was an option in Empire, yet was suspiciously absent in Shogun.

So CA, will this option be present in the shipped game, or will it be abandoned once again? Personally I found its removal to seriously kill off immersion (as it removes my ability to manipulate/arbitrate the various neighbouring factions when I become the big power).

But that's my hopes - what about yours? What (feasible) diplomatic options do you expect/wish to see in the upcoming release?

It can be particularly annoying in co-op campaigns if you're in a joint war. My friends and I often like to plan out which regions we will take, and having to take every one we need with our own armies can make it more difficult, and all round silly. It should be in the game.

I was really surprised and frustrated to find out you can't use territories in diplomacy in Shogun 2. What a huge step backwards! This was a MAJOR aspect of diplomacy in Empire Total War. As musketeer says, its especially frustrating for coop campaigns.

And the kicker is... it would be so historically acurrate!! The shoguns traded and awarded territories like poker chips during sengoku jidai!
