Hey all, I'd like to know since with all this new information we've been given today what your plans are specifically for Multiplayer Campaigns !

Who are you going to be playing as? will your 1st co-op campaign be a friendly one or a hostile from the get-go?

I myself am showing a long time buddy of mine the ropes of Total War games in my first co-op campaign as Carthage (me) and Egypt (him)

The reason I chose Carthage/Egypt is because we won't be easily surrounded and have a nice income on trade from one-another.

We will be doing a few things differently when we play however. We will be sticking to a 2 nation alliance only with only bewtween us two to see how far we can get.

What are your plans for your co-op campaigns? Will you be fighting the other play just as you do AI? Will you be very close allies until you both become super powers and duke it out for the known world?

My bro and I will reenact the Punic wars. I'll be Rome and look for an alliance with Athens & Egypt putting pressure on the Carthaginian fleet.

I'm not sure yet. I have 2 friends that will get the game, one I am sure will want to play as Rome. With my other friend on the other hand, we're both big Greek fans so I'd like to create a joint Greek empire under the banners of Epirus and Sparta!

Online Campaign - Co-op campaign is still only two players, despite the larger size of the campaign map but drop-in/drop-out campaign and battles is also still present. Resources were an issue, but also they feel that they more players they add, the longer each player has to wait for their turn, especially when you consider battles played out etc…

I'll be playing has Rome, while my friend not sure what his faction will be yet but me and him will be two super powers conquer the entire map. But I'm always looking to play co-op and multiplayer with others as well online I'm a mature team player.

Why not try Rome (you) and Carthage (your buddy) ? could be a very interesting campaign if you ask me !

My friend and I are going to be allies. He'll play as Sparta (He's not much of a history person so he just likes them because of 300) and I'll be Athens. On all our MPC's we have a system, which is one of us is the economic powerhouse and the other is the militaristic powerhouse. Since he'll be Sparta, I'm sure I'll have to focus on finances. Darn

I usually like being the big guns.

Hahah awesome are you guys going to ally with any other greeks or is it you 2 vs the world?
