i want to see swords stuck in the ground, after the battle, flags stuck in the ground.. stones from rock ballistas on the ground, along with arrows stuck in the ground.. and spears.. make this battle look epic afterwards..
thoughts opinions?

That would look good but with all those things on the ground, it could clog up the CPU quite quickly I reckon. You can expect soldiers to drop weapons because if you watch the Greek Culture Pack Trailer, that Roman soldier who was killed by the Epirus guy on horseback, drops his spear. When it comes to the duration of how long the items stay on the ground for, I doubt it would be for too long. I think the only things that are permanent for the rest of the battle is bodies and maybe craters from onager projectiles if anything. To be honest though, dead bodies themselves (especially of the enemy) make the aftermath look pretty sweet enough![]()
i want to see blood afterwards, enough blood to sweep the battlefield clean
Blood, when it comes as DLC, will be better than what is was like in Shogun 2. I remember reading somewhere that the style of blood in Shogun 2 was created for that specific theme, so when CA releases the blood pack for Rome 2, it will be more gory to fit the antiquity style of pure carnage.
Expect more gore in this one! I'm going to love leaving countless Iceni warriors everywhere! Have them run into my shield walls and just watch as they fall one by one and the blood DLC should be something amazing. As cool as dismemberment is, I hope it isn't done too much though. Sometimes it can be done over the top. A lot of the time, people were hacked in the body, downward hack into the shoulder etc. so I don't want to see arms flying off of every dude haha. The blood though, do not tone that down. In Antiquity, things were crazy!
I am the author of the "Weaker Towers" and "Officers Of" series of mods for Total War: Warhammer!

i hope so, even though shogun 2 blood was there for the classical samurai movies i dont want blood shooting up into the camera, and flying halfway across the map. i want something alittle more realistic for rome 2. but decapitations and heads rolling on the floor would look pretty sweet
Crimson tide does look realistic.
Only thing is, I just like 'em as bloody as possible
