Launch Error

Attempting to launch the mod through the shortcut that was placed on the desktop, get an error that says "kingdoms.exe" cannot be found.

Now that sounds pretty simple, but I've no idea what to do short of poking around the files a bit.

1. Do you have at least one Kingdoms campaigns installed?

2. Are your M2TW/Kingdoms steam, or non steam version?

3. What Windows do you have?

4. Have you installed all four TATW Installers( 3.0 Part one and part two , 3.1 Patch and 3.2 Patch) ?

Tis a pleasure to be here. I've often looked, but this is the first time I've had to ask something.

1 + 2. All Kingdoms campaigns installed via steam

3. Windows 7

4. All installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3

That's the wrong location. It has to be installed at Steam/Steamapps/Common/Medieval II Total War/mods.

In my signature, click on EK's Install Thread, and do the following steps explained there :
1. Edit the security for your main M2TW folder..

2. Use one of the methods for steam installation of TATW, or, follow the one explained in the pictures.

Hey i have the same problem but its all non steam and my folders are in the right area what should i do ? i have all the kingdoms stuff its all saved to C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3 this pops up "kingdoms.exe" and i have all four TATW Installers( 3.0 Part one and part two , 3.1 Patch and 3.2 Patch)

So, you are getting the "Kingdoms.exe cannot be found" error?
