    Default Unit Flee

is it possible to make the units, when they start fleeing, flee like if i have pressed L (shortcut for the selected unit to leave the battlefield) , so no longer the fleeing units will be killed easily without intelligent responce; they would be abble to continue fighting if someone is after them ? what do i need to do to enable this ?

. . . and I asked this a year ago, but it won't hurt to check again.

There's no way to make fleeing units use a different (i.e. faster) animation, is there? I'm sure people have looked into this, because the overly-devastating routs diminish the quality of the game.

    Worth a shot.

You could change the animation, but it wont actually make the unit behave differently.
