    Default Tropaeum

it is a simple feature, but do you think they should include tropaeums after you fougth a army and decisively defeated them? and every tropaeum adds a little bit of tax income/population growth/less rebelion to the province its in.

    what do you think?

    Tropaeum
Tropaeum ("Trophy") is an extinct genus of ammonite cephalopod found throughout the oceans of the world during the Early Cretaceous. As with many other members of the family Ancyloceratidae, there was a trend among species within this genus to uncoil somewhat, in a very similar manner in the genus Lytoceras. The largest species, T. imperator of Australia, had a shell a little over one meter in diameter.

    Haha

I think you mean Tropaion - A Tropaion is an ancient Greek and later Roman monument set up to commemorate a victory over one's foes. Typically this takes the shape of a tree, sometimes with a pair of arm-like branches (or, in later times, a pair of stakes set crosswise) upon which is hung the armour of a defeated and dead foe. The tropaion is then dedicated to a god in thanksgiving for the victory.

A tropaion (Greek: τρόπαιον, Latin: tropaeum)

your move (i decided to use the latin one because of rome total war )

on topic: what do you think of the idea? could it be more fleshed out or should it be done in some other way?

Just like the statue/crossed swords you'd get on the campaign map after achieving a great victory? Except with added bonuses? I'd like to see it, but the bonuses should be minor and not permanent.

yeah i was thinking about it, when you gain one tropaeum Tropaion(be happy Sharpe) the old one still stays as "decoration"but loses its effect and the new one gains the effect (wich in turn is randomized again)

Yeah it could definitely work - Like if you scored a heroic victory against amazing odds all future recruited units in that region/province could get a morale bonus, obviously it would have to be a rare thing as it would be too powerful otherwise.

This would be great; all we have had so far in TW are those little crossed-swords signalling a heroic victory. The option to build a column or arch in your capital city would be so cool
