Crusader:Total War 0.6 Release Date

Yes, we are going to release!

Testing the last few things will take a while, but we are sure that for

SUNDAY THE 3rd

you will finally be able to enjoy the first version of our mod.

Here's a little summary of what you'll find in this release:

-19 factions:
The kingdom of Jerusalem,-strong spearmen and heavy cavalry
the Principality of Antioch, - strong heavy cavalry and heavy infantry
the county of Edessa, - strong heavy cavalry and heavy infantry
the county of Tripoli, - strong heavy cavalry and heavy infantry
the Byzantine Empire, - heavy troops and flame throwers :tooth:
the Cilician Armenian kingdom, - good troops of every kind
the Seljuq Turks, - the best light cavalry, weak infantry
the Caliphate of Egypt, - good light troops and archers
the emirate of Damascus - good light troops and sword wielding angry fanatics
the Atabeg of Aleppo and Mossul - mixture of turkish cavalry and saracen infantry
the Ziride Emirate - good spearmen, strong light cavalry
the Papal States - communal troops and heavy crossbowmen
the Republic of Genua - excelent spearmen, good crossbowmen
the Most Serene Republic of Venice - reliable infantry and heavy crossbowmen
the Kingdom of Sicily - good mixture of every kind of troop
the Kingdom of Hungary - horse archers and some very strong infantry and cavalry
the Hospitaller Order of St. Jhon - Unmatched knights and brethren infantry
the Order of the Temple - Unmatched knights and brethren infantry
the Order of St. Mary of the Teutons. - Unmatched knights and brethren infantry

you'll be only able to play custom battle in this version, as there is no campaign map ready for now.

I've done unit balancing myself, so don't bother dragases if something's wrong.

Let me be the first to congratulate you guys. I don't post too often in your forum but I have been following the mod's progress regularly. I was looking forward to the release and noe here it is. Can't wait to try it out.

Hey Nikephoros great to hear that you guys are releasing the long awaited Crusader Total War Mod this coming 3rd of September...i sure have been waiting for this day to come for a long time

and representing the whole community i want to thank you and Dragases for working so hard just to get this Battle Pack released for us fans to enjoy and im pretty sure you'll find someone to finish the Campaign Map soon enough

wow... but beef the diplomacy points up by 1000 on each faction....(is it only me who has noticed that diplomacy settings???)

jak thats old but for example DM works on it also well done on your mod

Hehe mate in all countries the 3rd is sunday, i dont think different countries have different days. :tooth:

@ Nikephoros - :hmmm: Hey, since the battlepack is for custom battles only, do you think it would work with just RTW 1.5 ? I haven't purchased BI yet. Also, for future reference, have you heard of any known compatability issues with RTW(Activision), and BI(Sega)? I know I'll have to get BI for the full mod, and that is why I'm asking.

I guess I could trade my Activision copy and get the Sega combo. Does it matter? Thanx
