'overwrite bi' or 'use :mod switch'
I have tried successfully using the :mod switch with IBFD, but it can have its pros and cons.
PROS (:mod switch)
-with :mod switch, IBFD can be installed w/ other mods, IBFD will not overwrite any '...RTW/bi/data' or '...RTW/data' files
CONS (:mod switch)
-:mod switch will add ca. 200 MB unpacked to disk usage, most of this will be hun portraits as IBFD uses 100% custom units and 90% custom strat characters, total disk usage may also increase as no data are overwritten.
DEFAULT (overwrite '...bi/data')
-will save ca. 200 MB unpacked (packing it in the .exe or .7z format may make it smaller for DL, though)
of course, I will release IBFD 6 as a self-installer, all you got to do is click the .exe file and let it do its job.
people who use JSGME usually know how to install to a non-default directory anyway
