I was thinking of purchasing RomeII through the Russian Steam as it's just 30$ USD but then I read this:

    http://wiki.totalwar.com/w/Total_War...l_Restrictions

Will I be affected by this? I am from the USA. I love Rome Total War but I don't want to buy a region-restricted copy :o

You're not allowed to buy it trough the Russian steam by using tricks like VPN connections. You'll probably won't be able to play it anyway.

Again, I didn't say they are bad guys. Just saying, you don't have to worry about these issues when going trough normal channels.

Yup, atm all Steam copies are still regionfree and playable everywhere, regardless where you bought them.

Okay. Curious to why it was said before that buying from the russian steam store from the US won't work though? Through VPN, etc?

Guys I think we are so close to release and all prices and facts are there. Some cannot to be bothered to read the OP as we repetitive answer questions.

I will leave this thread and wish you a good time in Rome 2.

I didn't know where to post this but if anyone's from Canada, you can pre-order from Best Buy and get the Greek City-States DLC for free. I know I did.
Last time I went on their website the free DLC wasn't clearly announced so it wasn't clear if it was a participating retailer.

Reg: They've taken everything we had and what have they ever given us in return!?
Xerxes: The aqueduct. Reg: Oh yeah, yeah they gave us that. Yeah that's true.
    Activist 1: And the sanitation!
Stan: Oh yes...sanitation, Reg you remember what the city used to be like.
Reg: all right, that's two things that the Romans have done...
    Matthias: And the roads...
Reg: Well yes obviously the roads goes without saying. But apart from...
    Activist 2, 3, 4, 5: Irrigation...Medicine...Education...and the wine...
Francis: Yeah the wine. That's something we'd really miss if the Romans left.

    Went through iHEO.

Seems to be good so fingers cross on that

I went through iHEO as well. Is there any indication that it included the Greek pre-order DLC? I have seen other people mention that they entered two codes, one for the game, and the other for the dlc.

Yeah it should include it. Just still waiting on a reply from iHero. He must be busy.
