Hi, im new to SS 6.4, and have been playing for a little over a week. I decided to play medieval 2 again but this time with a mod installed and have been enjoying it so far.
At turn 70 though, I receive a CTD immediately upon loading my save.
Note there are no AI actions since i cannot end turn to allow the ai to make an action. Also this is a campaign map CTD and not a battle map one.
Further information: Im using Windows 7, and ive tried to diagnose the problem and its not related to video or graphic settings as far as im aware, and ive also tried soem fixes mentioned but to no avail.
Background information: Both the autosave and my manual saves are corrupted. They are one turn apart.
I did not receive the CTD during original gameplay, only when i returned to load it the following day.
My manual save is at turn 69 (just prior to turn change), when playing the game originally i had no issue, and moved smoothly to turn 70 (thus triggering the autosave).
Loading the autosave the next turn would CTD within a few seconds. (a few campaign faction notifications are visible before it crashes).
Loading the turn 69 save would cause CTD immediately (campaign map never loads).
As you can see, i cant actually make any actions or even open console.
Other possibly useful information: One of my settlements is bugged, I cannot seem to change the governor.
The governor is listed as my Faction Leader but he has never once been to that area and he is currently also governor in another settlement (my capital). Units can be garrisoned in the bugged settlement but moving them out will teleport them to the actual region my fl is presently at (the capital).
If anyone has solutions, would be appreciated.
Ive also attached the two savegames so if someone can actually just load the file and skip past the turn and upload it so i can try again. I would appreciate it.
