    Default Mod issues?

    I installed the daimyos mod and the matchlock mod and they don't work so what do I do? Why is this not working? I put them all in this folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War SHOGUN 2 did I put it in the wrong folder? My Shogun 2 is the latest version (5918.bla bla blah) do I have to make a user script? What EXACTLY do I put in the user script? I made a user script text and titled it as user.script.txt inside of it I wrote: unahims_improved_matchlock_v6.pack BullGod_Daimyo_ShimazuYoshihiro.pack BullGod_Daimyo_UesugiKenshin.pack BullGod_DateMasamune_2.pack BullGod_Daymio_Chosokabe_2.pack BullGod_HattoriHanzo.pack BullGod_HojoUjiyasu.pack BullGod_MoriMotonari.pack BullGod_OdaNobunaga.pack BullGod_TakedaShingen.pack BullGod_tokugawa.pack did I write something wrong? What do I write?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Total War SHOGUN\data

    If the mods are .movie type you do not have to edit the user script. If they are the .mod type then currently every time you start Shogun 2 the mod manager will come out and you can select which ones you want to enable. No longer need to edit the user script. This however only available if you have updated Shogun 2 post the introduction of Shogun 2 Steam workshop.

    ^That^; you mean mod not patch LestaT...
    Isn't Unahim Improved Matchlock kinda old? Maybe its obsolete, not up to latest patch.

    First: as LestaT wrote, you need to put those mod files inside Shogun2/data folder, not inside main floder, where Shogun2.exe is.
    Secondly: my mods are of a "movie" type, so you don't need to put anything inside user.script.txt. Current version of Shogun launcher includes tool that let's you choose which mods you want to use, by selecting/deselecting them. Be avare though, that my mods are "movie" type, which means they'll not be listed there - they're run automatically if put inside data folder (it was easier to make them that way before this launcher tool was introduced, which made running "mod" type mods a little bit easier).
    Thirdly: if you decide to create/edit user.script.txt file yourself it should go like this(every entry in it's own new line, separated by semicolon at the end of the line):

    mod unahims_improved_matchlock_v6.pack;
    mod someexamplemod.pack;

    ahhh
    Yeah I actually figured out that I didn't put it in the data folder.
    So Unahim matchlock works but in the bull god mod the general unit does not change to the new general variant (only on the general's face in the botttom left).
    Now it works for me, but can this work in custom battles or only on campaign?

    Also someone rep BullGod for me please.
