I might sound like the fun breaker here but I'm not excited about Total War Rome II anymore. In 2.012 I was as excited as I can't even describe. If I got a little more excited I would die of over-excitement.But I've heard and seen many things that I disliked in 2.013 and that spark is gone now.
Of course I'm still interested in the game and that's why I'm still here. The things that sound the most promising for me are
1)The battle changes, for example the AP system or the more meaningful maneuvers like more morale damage when flanking etc.
2)"Less sieges but more epic and more meaningful" as Jack said.I really hope the sieges will feel epic.
3)The army's customization of names,banners and emblems.
There are a few more that could prove great but they could also prove bad or even terrible and I need to hear more about them before I decide if I like them or not. Those are
1)The army legacy. It is unclear for me in what extend the armies will keep their traits and skills after being annihilated and I need to know if the traits and skills will be damaged after that or not.
2)The province/region system. This will depend on how the player will be able to defend the unfortified regions and if the enemy armies will be able to pass behind your army without fight and attack your towns or not.
3)The army limit. This can lead to repetitive 20 versus 20 battles. It will depend on how they implement it.
4)The sea regions.Something tells me that I will either love or hate that feature. No middle ground for me about that.We don't know anything about it yet so we can't tell.It can be great or horrible.
5)The "capture points" thing outside of siege battles.Again this could either suck or be great depending on how they implement it.
