Default Once Again "Unspecified Error" Crash

I played TATW back during the 2.X days and recently decided to reinstall it. I tried out a few custom battles and saw the "Unspecified Errors" crashes there but assumed it was because I was trying to play on custom settlements, such as Moria. I loaded up a campaign as the High Elves and proceeded to besiege Lunelaith with Glorifindel and a couple of other units (IIRC longspears, elves swords/bow men). When the enemy sallied out I clicked "begin battle", the camera zoomed in, the battle loading screen began, and then the game crashed with an 'unspecified error'. I think my base install of MTW2 might be borked, but I have the Teutonic Campaign of Kingdoms installed and patched up to 1.5. It is not the gold version (at least, the disks don't say it is the gold version) and not Steam. Custom Battles and campaign battles work fine on it. I have TATW patched up to 3.2. I do have Windows 7 but I installed all files as an administrator and am running the game as an admin. I also deleted the two descr_geography files that was recommended. However, the crashes still persist. I really don't want to sound like an ungrateful internet snot who has no appreciation of how difficult any modding is-let alone modding at this level and scale. However, it appears that I am far from alone in this problem which desperately needs to be resolved. I don't remember TATW being this unstable back in the 2.X days.

Have you checked the Virtual Store? Go here and check first three steps for Windows 7 users.

Also, when installing TATW 3.0+ 3.1+3.2, did you uninstall the previous 2.x version which you had? If not, you should have done that too.

I checked the Virtual Store, and nothing related to MTW2 in there. As far as having a previous version, there is absolutely no way there could be anything relating to TATW 2.X on my computer as it is a completely new computer.(If it is at all relevant, it is a Lenovo T420 with an Intel HD 3000 chip.)

Disable daylight saving settings, go to Control Panel, Clock, Date and Time, Change the time zone, Change time zone, uncheck `Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings time`.
