    Default technical issue

    i was just wondering if i downloaded rome total war and used daemon tools to mount the files is there any chance downloading this mod would work, i understand this thread will probably be closed down but iv bought rome total war 3 times and each time the disk has cracked or become unresponsive, just wondering if its possible.

    Yes it works. You can install this normally and the mod, too. I would advise after you installed it, make a copie of your Rome folder and place this out of ProgrammFiles, because it could make problems. And there you install the mod.

    okay i followed the exact install instructions but each time i try to play the campaign it exits the menu thing and the game doesnt start?

    also are you meant to install RSII before RS2.5? i just patched RTW to 1.5 then installed RS2.5

    Are you absolutely certain that you're following the install instructions correctly?

    If not, bear in mind that the RTW Collection costs $10 at Gamer's Gate, and often is on sale for even less. I'd recommend buying this, because the mod is a much more complete and challenging experience when played on the Alexander executable; the AI is without some of the highly destructive quirks possessed by the RTW and BI AIs.

    This. I bought from gamers gate. There are no problems installing mods like steam has, plus its digital so you can always redownload it.

    yes im certain but if i play regular rtw i have to mount an mds file at the same time as running the game for it to work iv tried doing this with my RS install but it still doesnt work. I open the RS launcher click start campaign in rtw exe and it just closes the launcher and nothing happens

    Seems to me like a wrong directory or installation path. Did you check your launcher's target path?

    i created a folder in c drive like it sais in the instructions so the installation path was c:/roma surrectum II

    i checked my inbox there isnt anything there? do you know why it just exits the launcher and nothing happens?
