Here's my Top Ten list of Traditions that I would like to see given to my soldiers.
This is mainly my speculation of traditions that could be implemented.
1. Pyrrhic Past

"The Unit has had a Pyrrhic Victory in the past, they survived."
+2 Defence
+5 morale if outnumbered
2. Superb Phalanx
"Units have been trained in phalanx as if Alexander the Great was leading them."
+5 Defence to frontal aussault
+3 movement speed
3. Elephant Kindness
"The unit has trained and even raised these beasts from infancy."
+3 morale for Elephant Units
+4 charge bonus against infantry
4. Raiders of Europa
"The unit has pillaged and burned his way through enemy lands, the loot was well worth it."
Your unit pillages 20% more income than before
+1 move space when retreating
5. Siege Master
"The unit has taken cities by the sword, taken most by starvation."
Turns to wait a city into starvation reduced by 1
siege equipment built 1 turn faster
6. Bow and Arrow
"The unit has been trained by nomadic bow masters, they shoot and kill"
Units that use bows gain +5 reload skill
Units that use bows get +5 accuracy
7.They cant see me sire
"The unit has survived 100 mission, but was never there"
Stealth Units are hidden from units line of sight for 30 seconds
+7 attack while sneaking
8. Royal Guard
"This Unit has fought the same enemy as the general multiple times on the battlefield"
+1 morale when the unit is in the generals sphere of influence
+3 morale if the general inspires or ralleys the unit
9. Throwaway's
"The units have been thrown in the worst situations, and learned how be victorious"
Militia, peasant, and light units gain +3 speed
+3 morale when facing elite/higher experienced units
10. Envy of Carthage
"The unit has battle the seas and other ships, there is nothing it cannot achieve"
+5 ramming speed
+2 speed
Sailors thrown overboard will try and find their way back to the ships.
So this is my "Fantasy" tradition list for the units we will have. I only did ten but I could think of a whole lot more. Can you guys think of any?
