Default Campaign Map Colors (Bug? Mod Option? What's going on?)

I haven't played Shogun 2 in a long time, so this is probably some game functionality I've just forgotten about.

Anyway, started up a new game and clan colors aren't displaying on the strategy map. Instead, I get white for neutral factions, cyan for allied factions, and red for enemy factions. Is there any way to set it up so the borders on the strategy map match the clan colors? Or is this a function of a mod? Currently using DarthMod.

For the sake of peace in the universe, before we continue this fruitless war... mustn't we first start by exterminating such evil parasites?"

Does it do it with DarthMod uninstalled? If so, mod problem.

Yes, it happens with no-mods. (Though I haven't tested it w/ Rise/Fall expansions).

Some more experimentation: every player faction is colored orange, all neutral factions white, all allied factions green, all at-war factions red.
