RTRPE 1.7 realease?

i realise that RTRPE 1.7 is probably not a priority, with 7.0 and all but i really want to play RTR. REALLY! but i dont want to go through the trouble of reinstalling RTW then installing 1.6 only to have to do it all over again in a few days for 1.7. so if any of the devs could give me an idea of when to expect that, it would be awesome!

1. This is/was in the wrong forum. I moved it to the RTR Platinum sub-forum. Please post all your related RTRPE question in this sub-forum from now on.
2. The RTR Team that is working on RTR 7 and the RTRPE Team (mainly Marcus) that is working on RTRPE v1.7 are 2 completely different teams.
3. RTRPE v1.7 should be out soon. Maybe at the end of this week, but it all depends on Marcus` free time as he is the one doing the work at the moment. Please note that there is a Preview of Change Log for Upcoming RTR Platinum v1.7 Release:

I have the 1.6 patch on, with that BI.EXE, I followed the instructions that florin80 had provided me, and it worked put and all. So when it just comes out can I just install over the 1.6 patch?

Yes, you should be able to do that, but for the changes to take effect you will probably have to start a new campaign.
