Empire 2 for me but arround 1800-1900 with a huge campaign map(Africa,Australia,Whole North-South America...),more units & less bugs
I'm quessing they will do a medieval type of game though wich could also be really good.

As an agnostic I wouldn't call it a "Bible" game but I would like a BC game going way back to the Egyptian New Kingdom. It could be called Egypt Total War. It would start with a tutorial/prologue campaign during the Hyksos period (15th dynasty) of Egypt, which was when the North of the country had been conquered/taken over by a semitic people called the Hyksos. You would play the part of the free Egyptians in the South. Your aim would be to liberate the country from the Hyksos.
After that a larger campaign map appears and you have to conquer a set number of provinces. I would also like to see the Amarna Heresy/Atenism represented, with Atenist montheism as a religion alongside the traditional polytheistic religion. Other factions should include: the Hittites, Babylonians, Canaanites, Assyrians, Libyan tribes, Nubia/Kush etc.

Classical Greek world also makes a perfect setting. And it can have many expansions, especially Trojan War expansion, which would be lovely.![]()
i would love nothing more than a bc/biblical total war. the Old Testament is filled with epic battles against Philistines, Canaanites, Amalekites, etc., it would be so sweet to have warfare centered around that era, i've always wanted to relive israel vs philistine battles, they seemed pretty balanced compared to other battles in the Bible.
Medieval 3 that covers the whole world. Europe, Mid East, India, China, Japan, The Americas.
I wish Total War: Ancient Greece which would begin before Persian invasions of Greece around 500BC and would end around 300BC or 200BC. The Map could be like this:

Well, since you didn't include a Renaissance TW option I'll just go with Fantasy because of Warhammer.
As much as i loved Medieval 1 and 2, to me it would be a dissapointment if they released Medieval 3 just now. I think there is more interesting stuff to do and the jump from 2 would not be that amazing.

Eventually they will do American Civil war, it's just a matter of time. But most of all they should slow down the release-speed of games.
With all this work they are putting in to Rome 2, and the excitement they have in developing it, I hope just maybe, they could go as far as making Medieval 3 with the same amount of enthusiasm and work, and not see it as something they should skip over. They could at-least if they were not going to go that route, make an Expansion for Rome 2 and say call it The Dark Ages to say 1200 A.D. or even 1300 A.D.
1815-1915 Victoria/WW1 game would be brilliant IMO, WW2 isn't really plausible.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. A Victorian Age TW really is the only logical way to go if CA wants to keep on improving their games. Just think, an Empire TW style campaign but with 6 interlocking regions instead of 3...
America, Europe, Middle-East, Far East, South America and of course Africa
Cry God for Harry, England and Saint George!
I woud love to see none of all for about 2 years but finally a new warscape engine with 64bit support and better hyperthreading and possible core scalability, currently we have 4 cores more or less efficiently.

Whenever somebody mentions Victoria line of games here I can't help but think of Victoria's Secret. Guess it's time to lay off the hooch and find me a missus.
Personally I'd like CA to do something completely different. With that in mind I present my totally unique and original idea - Thug Lyfe: Total War. Think Saints Row, except on a huge tactical scale. You are a leader of a criminal gang that operates in a large metropolitan complex like Moscow, Hong-Kong or Greater Tokyo. Your goal is to transform your small bunch of social undesirables into the city's most dangerous and hardened criminals. You face off against vicious rival gangs, sinister mega-corporations and finally even the government itself, until you and your gang members are all that's left left standing atop a mountain of corpses, recognizing no rule or law but your own. You have to recruit new members, manage your ahem, "businesses", bribe cops and judges, assassinate prosecutors, set up protection rackets, capture territories and train and equip new types of troops. The gameplay can be divided into stages in the strategic map, and the tactical map, where you resolve your fights and complete special missions. Unlike Grand Theft Auto style games, it will feature fully open world gameplay, meaning that there is no linear storyline that you have to follow to complete the game, merely a set of goals which are up to you to achieve however you want. You can begin and customize your gang in any way you want, and you may focus in whatever roleplay attributes you want it to possess - for instance you can participate/refrain from certain kinds of activities in order to affect standing with various factions (government, other criminal organizations, the public and so on). There will also be multiple endings reflecting different pathways to victory that you have undertaken.
It will of course be a huge detour from existing TW games in that it will feature some modern style warfare mechanics. However, I think that many existing TW game elements could be easily ported over to such a new concept. Although my idea won't hold sway with everyone, I believe the last thing CA needs to do is remake their old releases over and over again with updated graphics. I mean, Rome II was hotly expected in all, it being the sequel to such an iconic game in the first place, but if CA decides to release MTW 3 next, then it would appear as if the company has run out of ideas and is just riding on the success of their past games. The last thing I want from the company is for it to tell us: "here's a variation on the game that you've played 5-6 years ago, but hey don't fret over itsvastly dumbed down and inferiorupdated gameplay, and instead look at all the pretty new HD graphics that you've shelved a new rig for!".

Medieval 3 for me, would definitely love if it could start in the Dark Ages (around 900AD) and finish around 1550.
