In Game Option Menu Says 1.5?

Hello everyone,

I have just spent tonight attempting to install Roma Surrectum 2.5 correctly, but I am not sure if I have. In my in game option menu it says 1.5 in the upper right hand corner. Is this 2.5? Or is 1.5 the base Roma Surrectum 2.0?

When I installed 2.5, it did not give me the option to save the files into the Rome Surrectum 2.0 folder I already had. Instead I had to save it to a folder on the desktop, and then I dragged the 2.5 folders contents from the desktop into the 2.0 folder I had in my C drive. I then copied the new 2.0 and 2.5 folder into my steam app Rome Total War Gold folder. All seemed well, but the Rome Surrectum 2.5 launcher would not work (said I needed to install the game correctly). Instead I tried using steam, going into Rome total war's properties in steam and then using the code for Rome's campaign. This allowed me to play the game, but when I checked in the upper right corner it says 1.5. Can someone please let me know if I have made a mistake, or if the 1.5 actually stands for 2.5 for the in game options menu.

Uninstall Rome Total War and re-install (make sure you delete everything from your rome folder. Download 2.5.exe and install to your base Rome Total War folder.

To answer your question about the 1.5, that is your version of Vanilla Rome Total War not the version of Roma Surrectum.

So don't even install 2.0, just 2.5?

So I have installed the file from this site that combines the 2.0 and 2.5 patch. I use steam, so I installed it into my steamapps-common-Rome Total War gold folder. The launcher does not work though, I press play and literally nothing happens, the launcher just sits there.

So instead, I altered the steam properties and put -mod:play_Rome -show_err for the launcher. This allows me to play the game, but it still says 1.5 in the upper right corner of RSII options.

I don't see any of the updated building pictures or anything like that. This is why I created this thread, because I am questioning if 2.5 was applied; it simply seems like I am still playing 2.0.

So please, someone tell me if 1.5 in the upper right corner of RSII is actually the code for 2.5. It is a very simple question, but no one seems to be able to answer it.
