How do I win it (as the Romans)?
Also, how to play as a Swap Faction with a 1 Turn Campaign? Thanks in advance
Sorry if its not the correct board

Swap factions are only zero turn i believe.
"To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true" ~ Aristotle
Most wins are achieved trough bringing cavalry from neighbour cities and try killing Hannibal for the morale hit. But having a loss is not bad if you can manage to salvage most of the Army. Some of the Swap are one turn, but not all.

My AAR for VGRII-AQUILAE
1 Turn Swap factions are Capua, Massalia and Galatia. The rest are 0 Turn.
Don't forget that the battle was a Roman 'mistake' - you don't have to make it.![]()

RSII 2.5/2.6 Tester and pesky irritant to the Team. Mucho praise for long suffering dvk'.
Yes if you just leave your army lie still the is a good chance Hannibal will go besiege one of the closest cities, buying you time to upgrade your army, and allowing you to choose the place and time to confront him.

Reinforce the army with cav and triarii (then whatever is left to fill it out if anything, I can't remember). Move all your cav to one flank (I put them on my right flank) along with the slingers. Triarii are either behind the infantry or on the left flank (to deal with enemy cav). I advance infantry and circle my cavalry way around and behind, draw out their cavalry and Hannibal, kill him and all the enemy cav that isn't on my left flank.
While this is happening, slingers are skirmishing against enemy heavy infantry on the extreme right flank, like the naked fanatics (if a unit of enemy cav goes after them, can either send one of your cav units to rescue or just let the slingers get massacred in exchange for tying up a cav unit). Infantry advance, then stop when close enough to throw pila. If enemy hasn't charged after all the pila are used, you charge, mop up whatever enemy cavalry is left with triarii/your cav, then start charging your cavalry into the enemy infantry.
I've gotten two or three heroic victories doing this, and you can then destroy the second army right after.
