I have no experience in installing mods etc but love MTW 2 so much I thought I would give it a try. I read Stainless Steel was good so downloaded 6.3 first to see if I could do it correctly, then move on to 6.4.

I followed the instructions to the best of my abilty but can't get the game to launch. When I try to run 'launcher' or 'stainless steel mod launcher' the game seems to launch but then shuts down after I have seen the MTW 2 screen for a few secs. When I try to run 'SS_setup' or 'stainless steel campaign setup' I get an error message reading 'not enough campaigns or files missing'!

Any idea whatI have done wrong? I put all the downloaded files in C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SS6.3, is this even the correct place?

Apologies for my total lack of knowledge. Any help would be much appreciated.
