Do you want a Dacia/Thrace faction?

So far there has been no official word about wether they will become playable factions like some dlc or if they will be unlockable.

I personally would really like to see these Factions represented accuratedly.
So, what's your opinion on this? Would you rather see Thrace or Dacia or both?

To me Thrace felt like they were barbarian Greeks and so I never really though they were a great faction. However it would be interesting to see them represented more accurately. As for Dacia they had the same units as most Barbarian factions so I'm not really bothered whether they will be included as a playable faction.

This is how I feel about all those hellenic factions. They're all the same with some other colours here and there.

But I would like to see Thrace and Dacia. At least one of them because there is a lot of empty space in middle-europe although I suspect I won't play as them.

The Dacians were really badly interpreted by CA. They should have had a very unique unit rooster compared to the other barbarian factions. Europa Barbarorum, Roma Surrectum II and also RTRVII have actually represented them very well. Both mods for Rome TW

I'd love to see both. If I had to choose between the two, though, I'd go with Dacia.

The way we've got the Greek States Culture Pack I think it would be great if we get a Thracian Culture Pack post-launch which should include:
- Odrysian Kingdom
- Dacian Kingdom
- and perhaps Kingdom of Bythinia.

I loved playing as the Dacians in Roma surrectum 1.5 and as the getai in EB. I'd like to see them as a playable faction in rome 2, they were not like the other barbarian factions, they were good architects (they build complicated stone walls and other stone buildings) and they had a very interesting unit roster with very good chain-mail armours and lethal weapons.

this, Dacians where amongst my favorite factions in the Roma Surrectum mod, and their falx look badass.

Don't forget the Thracians had really deadly guy's, the Thraikan Rhomphaias! Oh god, I love them in RSII. They cut everything to pieces.

It would be nice to play as both of them at some point in the future. A fitting tribute to Rome 1 if eventually all playable factions from that were accessible in Rome 2

Dacia, Thrace and Illyria are some of the factions i really hope will be included as dlc someday.

I'd like to see both, but failing that I want to see Thrace. The Thracians really do have a lot to offer a player - potent enemies for a challenging campaign in the face of Macedon, the Seleucids in Asia Minor, the Getae and Dacians to the Northwest and the Scythians to the Northeast. Each of these requires a different approach.

Second, due to their central location the Thracians will have a mixture of cultures and influences that could shape their research and building tree. And last but not least, for its small location Thrace would/should enjoy one of the most diverse unit rosters available - Celtic units from the Keltoi who invaded and settled in Thrace a few years before the start of Rome 2; native Thracian units - javelineers, archers and some slingers, Thracian peltastas and medium shock infantry as well as the iconic Elite Thracian infantry with Rhomphaias, light and heavy cavalry; Greek heavy infantry from the coastal cities, both traditional hoplites and thureos infantry; and finally Scythian-influenced cavalry.
