    Default Legionary Animations

I really love this mod and you've done a great job with it. Helps me survive until Rome 2 comes out, forever grateful for that

However, as much as I like this mod in general, I dislike the new animations for Legionaries and similar units, especially how close to the body the hold the shield. Imo it looks a bit awkward. I know it's because the Gladius is a stabbing and not a slashing weapon, but I wonder if there's a way to make them go back to "normal" swordfighting" animations? Any edits or somesuch that I can do?

Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers

Find the unit with the animation you'd like to change in export_descr_unit. Look for the soldier line and copy the first couple words (eg polybian_cohort). Open up descr_model_battle and CTRL+F paste (eg polybian_cohort) to find the unit in there. On the skeleton line, you'd have to replace 'fs_s1_slow_gladius' with 'fs_s1_swordsman' for example. More than likely have to change this in all descr_model_battles, although I think it will look even more 'awkward' with a different animation. The ones currently in use look the best and are more realistic as it'd be hard to fight with a shield that large in any other way.

They hold the shield slightly too close to their body, which also makes the weapon clip through the shield. Again, nothing major but just preference
