As I was playing Medieval II the other day and I was defending my fortress against a large Egyptian army and my stupid defenses were shooting at the weakest infantry the army had, an idea came to mind, why can’t I control where they shoot? For example:
1) Control each tower and where they shoot, just by clicking the tower you want to select(as long as the walls are occupied by your force) and then selecting fire arrows or no fire arrows and then selecting which unit they should fire at, basically just like you would with a ranged infantry unit.
2) Also controlling when the oil (or whatever theyused) is released onto soldiers trying to break through the gates. Although I don’tknow if this applies to Rome II, I’m not sure if they used oil or not
3) Another idea is using traps like boulders or something else to drop on the enemy
4) Any other ideas you guys might like to see in controlling your settlements defenses?
