good to hear , also i advice you come here in the summer, the rest of the year it can get to rain quite alot(especially in the winter and autumn), but where i really would love to go is take a tour through all the celtic nations(the british isles and britanny) as i already have been trough Asturias and north Portugal

They are an Iberian people in the sense that they inhabited the Iberian Peninsula.

Oh, and that's all CA needs. If the Iceni are in there through some sort of connection to Boudicca, then they're gonna be pick the most iconic figure in Iberia, and that would probably be Viriato, it's either that or Numantia, because of it's famous siege.

...the region inhabited by the Gallaeci has its own borders, so we can all assume that the Gallaeci will be represented in the game. This is also true for the Lusitanian tribes. Who knows, maybe in the future CA will release a "Celtic culture pack" to unlock one of these factions (or both) as well as the Belgae, the Aedui or the Boii.

You should consult portuguese sources and not foreign sources when talking about Portugal.

oops sorry about that , they are a playable faction in the roma surrection 2 mod, also if you are interested in some Galician(and Irish i think) folklore about the Gallaeci, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breog%C3%A1n this goes about the celtic king breogan that aparentlly build the tower of Brigantium and could see Ireland across the sea, and set forth to conquer it.

time for an update, i decided to dive deeper into the internet and found some pictures, some sources are not the most reliable so take them with a grain of salt, and if you know from where they are please tell me

what i find weird is that this one wears trousers. it migth be a warrior from another tribe, but the sword hilt,clothes and greaves looks very similar, so it migth just be that some wore kilts and some wore trousers

and now i found some houses that where aparently used in castros

they differ but i think one is from a earlier age or is simply a poorer family then the other

those appear to be 2 small castros and a Cividade/Oppida you can several walls before the entering of the habitable area, you also see signs of some urbanism

and as last what appears to be a sauna/bath(you can see its a sketch of what you could see in the photo of my earlier post (urbanism)

maybe and hope so, but i didnt make this thread to say i want them as a faction as there are enough threads like that, i made this thread to show people a bit how they where and how CA migth make them look as a playable/unplayable faction (if they appear at all that is) at this moment i think other factions deserve more place then this tribe although i would love that the gallaeci be playable, example:Seleucids,Dacia,Thracia,Lusitanians or Celtiberians

CA has shut down the phase where they create content. Now they are fixing bugs and correcting whatever needs to be corrected before the upcoming release. Two: Just because there is no playable iberian tribe doesnt mean there wont be any tribes there. There will prob be several and I am sure the Gallaeci will be one of them. And when CA releases a download that unlocks the nonplayable factions you can play as the Gallaeci.

i already know they are past the create content phase for the vanilla game, as you can see i didnt state anywhere i demand them from CA that they be playable, im just showing how they migth if we find the as a unplayable tribe in the game or as a playable dlc tribe in the future, a little history class to be exact, but thank you for your concern and taking your time to post
