"Pompeius, after having finished the war against Mithridates, when he went to call at the house of Poseidonios, the famous teacher of philosophy, forbade the lictor to knock at the door, as was the usual custom, and he, to whom both the eastern and the western world had yielded submission, ordered the fasces to be lowered before the door of science."

idk how much they used, but from what i read most nobles/rich warrior rode on horses and i also read they where often used for transportation, but that may be hard to find, you could literally go into google and count all real history gallaeci pictures with your hands, some of the pictures i found on spanish history blogs and such, so it could go from alot of horses, to few horses.
hopefully the upcoming movie Galaicus(spanish movie) that goes about the roman invasion is Gallaeci will shine so more ligth, they are even MAKING a castro for the movie, their budget is 4-5 million.
https://www.facebook.com/galaicus first picture, they are building castro houses.
Hehe cool, I guess it will only come out in Spanish, though? If the nobles were cavalrymen that would be quite a normal case then, like most Celts or the Romans. But in any case, isn't Galicia rather rocky and mountainous? (I think the name Gallaeci even means ''Mountain people'' or something similar) That usually prevented people from using many horses.

I wouldn't be against this tribe representing the Spanish faction.
Spain could certainly use a faction other than Carthage (which is like 1/4 of their Empire), and this campaign would be pretty tough because you'd have Carthage coming at you pretty early on.
If there's gonna be an Iberian faction, it's will be Lusitannia. I mean, cmon, CA seems to go with the "known factions" philosophy.
So massive TLDR: a minor faction around Portugal?
Well, i got nothing against the Gallaeci, but if they were to include just one "spanish" faction, to me it would be a crime if the actual Iberian culture was not represented in some way through it (that would be either an Iberian group, or maybe the Celtiberians as a middle ground).
If it came to a "culture pack" as with the greeks, then i'd have nothing against them. In any case, i doubt CA would include them over other more iconic (and also celtic) hispanic populi, such as the Lusitanians or the Cantabrians.
Tbh, i fear that (realistically thinking, this has nothing to do with my personal preferences), the most that the gallaeci fans could hope for is that CA includes them as a minor unplayable faction rather than giving the province (region?) of Gallaecia (the one with Brigantium in it) to the Cantabrians or the Lusitanians or something weird.
The Lusitanians were not an Iberian faction. They were a -pre-celtic- indo-european people (the Iberians were not) that aparently later became heavily celticied. Check any of these maps (the one that is easier to understand for you):

The problem with the Lusitanians is that they were mostly famous for their military deeds (through Viriathus), but they were not preciselly an advanced people, and there is very little archeological evidence from them to make an actually correct (and interesting) depiction of them (in fact, i believe that the best description about their looks is no other than "they didn't look very different from the Celtiberians").
My opinion stands. Way too many celts, and there were more unique, advanced (and in my personal opinion, interesting) cultures in Spain.
