Who should I play first??

Looking for a easy faction to play for my first play through.

Even on easy settings, then I recommend the Reikland since there easy for alot of things; economy, soldiers, least attacked faction when it comes to scripted invasion attacks. But hey, that is somewhat what most people say about Reikland since I haven't tried Reikland yet.

Reikland and Averland are by far the easiest factions to play due to their vast amounts of money making throughout the campaign - start to finish. Avoid factions like Ostland, Slyvania or the High Elves / Dark Elves until you have a good grasp on the mod ( for average difficulty try Kislev, or one of the Chaos factions, or even dwarfs)

I would actually advise against playing as Reikland first.

IMO, you should try maybe wissenland first if you're not a great player. But try Ostland or Nordland if you're a great player but just new to the mod.

TBH, once you play as Reikland once, you'll never want to play another empire faction again. At least in my view, as the emperor is just so awesome

Also, the Empire troops are almost the same. If you're looking for a long term mod mate, I would suggest playing as another empire faction, so u can really appreciate the power of the emperor.

Also, another reason being, this mod is not hard AT ALL once you know a good army composition and know how to constantly build stack after stack. So if you want to try the empire mate, for me, Reikland is by far the most fun i had on the mod, but you won't want to play as any other empire faction later. Not because they're hard, but because the troops are the same and it's going to be the same grind pretty much.

Border Princes may be a good choice too. Their economy is not that good but they don't get that many invasions. Also you can form numerous cavalry troops which is something the Empire factions lack.

Reikland, best infantry of all imperial factions, good economy, few invasions, corner of map, Emperor Karl, Kurt Helborg, main job is to help your neighbors, you are pretty safe

Averland is pretty rich. Its only problem is the big orc invasion.
