Angry old man syndrome seems to afflicts TWC disproportionately.

At least someone agrees with me. I play games, I enjoy them, but they are what I do to relax. I don't get how people have so much invested in these games emotionally that forces them to act out like they do.

    typical overreaction from fanboys.

really this forum is starting to make me think we have kids come over from the cod forums.

grow up! a lot of the criticism is peoples opinions and it's all about debate and improving the titles. moreover I dont see how for example saying things like "ca is milking us with dlc etc" is a real insult.

you only need to have a very basic knowledge of some of the stuff that happens re computer games to know that some of it is borderline unethical. look at the example of aliens colonial marines for example.

whilst i am not saying CA are like this, but it would be naive to think that this isnt possible. so each to their own and let the mods decide what's insulting and what isnt.

eh? not sure what i have done wrong except express some opinions..is that a crime?

p.s yes it's overreacting it's a computer game. it's very sad some of you are getting so worked up and then using personal insults.

and what's with the personal stuff directed at me? can u kindly stop with that....

and there is nothing wrong with people saying dont buy the game etc etc as long as their arguements are valid and they are not trolling.

it's called having a difference of opinion. whether u like it or not.

p.p.s i do agree there might be 2 many similar threads about..

I've never insulted you or used personal remarks. I'm simply stating that you are overreacting. That is my opinion.

And that's where this discussion should end. You 2 are derailing this thread, make a new one or use PM and fight there.
OP only wanted to apologize for some behavior and theres no need for further argumentations, not in this thread at least.

Lets hope that'll be more constructive criticism, than spam, insults, and conclusion based on false facts.
Disclaimer: the post above is way way prealpha, the final version will be way better than this.

And, who is the OP to apologize in the name of those who express different opinion ? He is not their/my lawyer.

American, French, Israeli and British government's ILLEGAL aggression against the Syrian people, without any proof for chemical attacks in Douma, and without waiting for OPCW to conduct their investigation..
Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.

A video of false chemical attack in Douma, Syria, which led to Western illegal attacks.

Convenient that when "fan boys" post a thread about their opinion of CA its considered an overreaction. And you want to talk speculation? Whether you like it or not every thread bashing or praising CA is entirely speculative. Truth is we don't know their intentions, but I intend to find out September 3rd.

Also, don't pretend like you are the victim when people insult you. Immediately you attacked OP's post calling it an overreaction and that all of us children that agree with him should grow up. So please don't preach "everyone is entitled to their opinion!" and then bash everyone that doesn't agree with you. A tad hypocritical don't you think? I'm even hesitant to reply to you because I can't tell if you are a troll or not, but your username is very appropriate . Nevertheless, everyone is indeed entitled to their opinion.

i never have said anything other than it's speculation. i am myself pre-ordering but thats subject to change. (i'll use my own brain to figure out whether the games worth £30 not because of pr/marketing or comments like "omfg i cant wait, it's going to be soooo amazing).

and yes this does seem like an overeaction from fanboys. that's not hypocritical it's as clear as can be.

and yes i am saying some of you should grow up.

p.s if that annoys you so be it. i find it annoying when i see such a kiss-ass thread.

also think what you want of me, am not going to enter some petty tit for tit arguement. (trying to flame me by insuinating i am troll wont work either, and it's been tried many a time).

p.p.s someone did make things personal as you are doing now. i didnt make any personal comments to any user just gave my appraisal on what i think has been occurring in threads for some time. someone actually mentioning a knife and killing someone highlights the juvenile delinquency present in some members.

Like one of the threads that was posted here the other day, the one about the guy telling people not to buy any CA games because of a speculative lack of modding tools, was just outrageous. Seriously makes me wanna shove a knife down that guys throat, didn't bother replying but ****, stuff like that just makes me upset.

What thread are you referrring to? If it's the one I started, then I'll probably have to reply to your rant.

You're right mate!A little positive energy doesn't hurt that much! I have been over-emotional and over-reacted in a couple of posts myself, but starting new threads to flame CA or to try to convince other people not to buy the game goes too far!

I was very disappointed by the Teutoberg video and some other weird decisions that I heard/read about the game in 2.013,but I still try to keep a positive mind for the game and I patiently wait to see a video of actual gameplay, not heavily scripted one and then we'll be right to have an opinion. But not before then and only for things that we have seen, not for everything.Even for things that you might dislike, you have to see them in action first to see if they actually work or not.
