Easiest imperial clans in fall of the samurai for legendary difficulty

Hi all what's the easiest imperial clan for legendary difficulty I have completed the campaign as the shogunate clan jozai on legendary. I have been trying saga clan I and iI struggling quite abit but I always put my army nearly navy so I can have naval support as it has made it easier to win battles.

I do try to build up my army abit but I don't get much income and I don't like killing my allies as they are holding other clans back while I build my economy up and my military I am abit slow. I prefer to build everything up first and prepare for war but the next clan I end up fighting is the fukue clan on goto island.

With naval support do you get more shells fired if you have certain type of ships in your fleet with more guns?

If you are trying for the achievement, im pretty sure dlc clans dont count (saga+tsu).

Its difficult to say which is the easier imperial clan. Satsuma takes a flying start with its weaponsmith, but there are no railways, which means your top troops take ages to reach the front line once you are midgame. Tosa has good units, but i suppose the suffer the same problem as chosokabe in vanilla: limited amound of trading ports. Choshu is not far of a weaponsmith, but quite surrounded.

What you can do, is play a co-op: let your friend be the host, who plays on normal, and you can play on legendary. That way you will still get the achievement (and the host can save, which is vital for smooth co-op campaigns)

Go satsuma. Don't ally anyone on Kyushu. Conquer the three golden kings(Very fertile farms) Develop and win the game.

Here is me and Cruzz playing co-op it is very interesting because we conquer the whole of Kyushu in 1 episode.

I always had good luck with Tosa. Their light infantry is the envy of everyone else, and if you don't mind gaming the game a bit, your bonus to naval bombardment gives you the coast.
