I am playing a round of Kingdoms as Ireland (Really doing well and enjoying it as well) and so far it has been a perfect campaign. EXCEPT!!!! There is one dastardly English pirate fatherless son who is sailing his warship............in the little lake that is LANDLOCKED west of Trim castle and east of Athenry. How can I sink this dastardly fellow so that he cannot spy upon my emerald isles? I assume the Mensa member ai bought a merc warship there just to stick it to us poor downtrodden Irish just as we kicked the last red arse out of Ireland in our first war so far of my campaign. Help me gentlemen, please!

Recruit your own merc ship in the lake and defeat the english.

Yeah, that was the first thing I tried but there seems to be no more room! It sucks (it really bothers me to see the red text in the middle of all my green!) but I will have to deal with it I guess.

The lake loops like it's big enough to fit two fleets there. Maybe you can try moving to a different position to see if you can recruit a merc ship.

If there truly is no room, then you cannot attack it. Land armies or agents cannot attack fleets by any means.

Use the move_character "Admiral Blabla" x,y console command to teleport him out of the lake. Use show_cursorstat to find out the x,y coordinates of where you leave the mouse cursor. Then sink him haha

Well, I was trying to post a screen for you guys so you can all laugh at my sorrow but I can't find where they are saved on my laptop. I should have been more specific when I came here to B and moan so as not to confuse fine persons such as yourselves who have deemed my misery worthy of your attention. I should have said west of Trim and then immediately NORTH which points you towards the itty (spell check wanted me to add a t to the front of this word!? This is no &*^) bitty little wanna be bodies of water. Sorry to confuse but my nemesis is indeed a tenant of one of the little ponds right in that area north of the "lake" DIRECTLY in-between the two castles. Woe is me! .....not really but thanks guys. Rep for all! I will try that console command and hopefully that works.

They should be saved in the Medieval 2 Total War/tgas folder, you can then open them in GIMP, Photoshop or another program that can open tga files.

To me, it seems like the English are getting the worse end of the deal. They're paying 180 florins per turn or something for an immobile boat, which does nothing but act as the equivalent of a spy with almost no subterfuge for spotting hidden characters and no ability to move or conduct missions. It may be invulnerable, but it's also useless, while imposing a small burden on their coffers. If they're not smart enough to disband it, it seems like their loss.

You can toggle off character names if the red name annoys you, Ctrl+n is the combination I believe, Ctrl+t will show you the names of the settlements. (It's either this or the other way around so doing ctrl+t and ctrl+n once would seal the deal anyway)

Aye, all wise and reasonable points you make noble Maklodes but you are unaware (obviously) of the extent to which I am known to be UN reasonable! Honestly, it's just the sheer stones that the AI has displayed towards mighty Ireland that has me flabbergasted. This and a little dose of ADHD (not officially diagnosed of course) has me chomping at the bit to send those "right ^&*()_" as the Boston Irish say, straight to the briny deep! Or in this case, to the bottom level equivalent of your average mini golf hazard lake perhaps?
