    Default How is the Campaign?

    Hey all,

First of all, I just found out about this. A fusion of my favorite games?! I applaud the team who is working on this mod.

Now my question, there does not seem to be a lot of info about the campaign. Is this mod solely focused on the custom battle aspect of the game? Is it just not a main focus for the mod right now?

Apologies if I may seem rude, I do not come home for a couple days, and all I have is my phone right now, else I would have seen this game myself right now. Wonderful project though!!

Hyrule Total War sports a custom campaign in which you play one of a set group of civilizations from the LoZ lore in a sandbox fashion. Neph has made his own lore to tie the multiple games together and this will be show cased in a set of historical battles to be played as well. So both sides are being developed to a good extent. Right now though, the sandbox campaign is the most fleshed out portion seeing as the historical battles are to arrive in an upcoming patch.

As for the extent of campaign completion, it sports a custom strat map, almost complete unit rosters, events, npc factions that join when specific parameters are met, mercenaries, custom buildings, custom traits and ancillaries, as well as a few custom scripts such as the mirror gate script that transports units from one spot of the map to another. Custom settlements are being made on a semi weekly basis as of yet and can be viewed here in the first post.

There are some bugs at the moment, but seeing as this is a one man team, patches may come out at a slightly delayed rate. Current bugs and those that have been fixed can be found here in the bug centre.

Hope this answers your question adequately enough.

Wow, thanks for the really detailed answers!

It's great to hear that the campaign is stable and is still being worked on. Can't wait to try it out.

I would recommend waiting for the next version of the mod to come out, it will feature just over 20 custom settlements (with 80 others still being worked on) plus some story missions, hopefully some bug fixes and an extra faction in custom battles, should be out soon id estimate 3-4 weeks but it is just a guess and welcome to the subforum!

Although it hasn't been talked about much for this update, perhaps there will also be some campaign event add ins/fixes that will probably make each campaign feel a little more complete than they are now (not finished of course though). That on top of the possible new factions coming with this update.

in case you were wondering Havefallen This mod is MAINLY based on ocarina of time, Twilight Princess, and the orcrael series, with a decent amount of influence from wind waker (some hero's and locations from this, influence from windwaker does not mean that is not a dark game, because it is mainly based on the dark games), majora's mask, and a link to the past. There are things in here from other Zelda games but not in a big quantity. neph made up some things in it to.

Neph has done a great job making his lore work around having all these factions together in the campaign. He has said he likes the dark theme of specific games and has done an amazing job creating his own lore.
