Question about allies and battle formation?

Hi, what are other ways to improve relations with allies, other than giving them gold each turn and regions?
Question about formation. in battle how to i move the troops in original formation rather than having to drag units each time i move. thanks

Allies: make marrige alliances, marry their daughter to your heir or your daughter to their heir. Its easy to do it in the beggining of the game, but later on it will be hard to find a faction with a heir that is unmarried.

Formations: Group the units together in a group and then make them move, when you have set them on the course you can ungroup them again.

Daughters of your FL and FH become princesses on the map, other princesses are just on the family tree.
