Well this is odd. Following this idea, us Italians should hate most of the world from germans to france to americans to arabs and so. Sincerely hating someone for pasting facts demonstrates only a closed poor dispined mind.
Korea and china would have been not very suitable for a game mainly based on the internal struggle of the 16th century Japan.

honestly, why should we PC gamers have to care about some pathetic international brawl over historic happenings. I don't see why computer games have to suffer because grown men (i.e politicians) can't get along. I mean, the day Japan or Korea gets angry that a teenager from the UK can fictionally conquer their lands on a computer screen will be a sad day for mankind indeed.

This kind of pathetic protective mentality causes further aggression and is entirely counter-productive to any kind of peace process... and more importantly, it screwed up my Shogun 2 campaign!

Kronpas, Koreans don't hate the Japanese for invading us in 1592, they hate them for destroying our entire culture and trying to force us into assimilating with them in WWII. They draggged our people into their own lands to build weapons and such and were also conscripted into the military and suicide units. Our women, over tens of thousands of them, were used as comfort troops for the Japanese and Americans. Then they sold our lands to the Soviets, hence creating the division of the two Koreas. This is why we hate them because they caused the split.

Because it takes money, time and energy which they have obviously choose to invest in other aspects of the campaign. I would have liked to have India but am still hoping for it to be included by DLC

Probably Mars personally. Just think how it would feel when you march your legions across Mars, establishing colonies, and defeating Martians. Good times.

To be on topic, if anything areas like India should be represented with a trade node or something of the sort.

Remove Hibernia from the map! The Romans never conquered that puny isle, we have no need of it! ;-)

India would be incredibly easy to add, it's not rocket science to add a few extra regions... and it's not harming any future Total War games either - I can't ever see them creating a Total War India or Asia, so why not stick it in for the hell of it? No the Romans didn't conquer India, but neither did the Austrians conquer India in Empire Total War, like they did in my campaign. Total War is about rewriting history.

Like Ptoss1 mentioned above, Shogun 2 suffered immensely from its campaign limits. No Korea, no Chinese coast... This really limited the campaign. It didn't even have the whole of Japan either!! The island of Hokkaido was just a trading outpost, despite it accounting for around 1/4 of Japan's total land mass...

That said, the current map should keep me occupied for a while pending any future expansion packs/DLC...

The CA has to design a whole new architectural style for the Indian faction, many new unique cities, whole new unique units (which there could easily be hundreds of), include new religions, include new faction politics/campaign missions, create new battle maps that deal with the sub-tropical Indian climate, etc. etc. etc.

This is also the reason why the CA has not included India in, if it were easy, they would have done it, but its not. It is instead very, very hard due to the amount of detail the CA would have to put into it to make it live up to expectations of the fans, and so they did the logical thing of cutting off the game at the Indus river, rather than include all of India, a place with so many different cultures and people in.

Asking for India to be in is like asking for China to be in, same amount of difficulty and the same lack of anything to do with ****ing Rome.

I hope all the people that demand India to be in the game absorb the contents of this message into their heads.

This is a suggestion about a computer game. So sorry to commit such blasphemy, your grace. As pointed out above, Indian trade had MUCH to do with the Roman Empire, and Rome isn't the only faction in this game. A border with India would not be that hard.

I don't care nearly as much as you're trying to make out because I'm a rational normal human being.

Indo-Roman trade was predominately maritime, as opposed to overland borders.
