    Default Installation skips Medival 2 and goes right to Kingdoms.

    I've been trying to install my copy of Medieval 2 Gold and it's been doing the strangest thing, 1 it seems to think that the Americas campaign is already installed on my computer (it's not) and it refuses to actually install the game itself and instead skips right to Kingdoms.
    Thought it was a cd issue, so I downloaded from Amazon and it has the same problem, wasted 8 bucks.
    Could someone please help me with this?

    Well it's not saying Americas is installed anymore, but it's still skipping the main game installation.

    Yes I did, I deleted everything there was to be deleted and followed the instructions to the letter.

    Vista, Windows 7/8? Did you disable UAC?
